Patrick is an environmental economist by training. He joined IEEP in 2001 to help open an IEEP office in Brussels and contributes to IEEP's work in the area of environmental policy instruments, policy assessment, evaluation and impact assessment, benefits assessments, biodiversity policy, cohesion policy, climate change, circular economy and innovation, and better regulation. Before joining IEEP, Patrick was an Associate Director in the environment group of ECOTEC Research and Consulting Ltd, and was responsible for environmental economics and policy, and EU-accession related advice.
